Strolling Close-Up

Strolling magic, also known as walk-around magic or close-up magic, is a captivating performance art that brings magic directly to small groups of people. Unlike traditional stage magic, where the audience’s attention is fixed on a central entertainer, strolling magic allows guests to interact directly with the magician while they mingle and socialize. 

Intimate Interaction: Strolling magicians move among guests at events, performing short sets of magic tricks that last anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes. 

Close-Up

Close-up magic, also known as table magic or micromagic, is a captivating form of magic performed in an intimate setting, usually no more than 3 meters (10 feet) from the audience. 

Proximity: Close-up magic happens up close and personal. The magician interacts with the audience while sitting at a table. The magic unfolds right in front of the spectators, creating an immediate sense of wonder.

Parlor

Parlor magic, also known as platform magic, stand-up magic, or cabaret magic, occupies a delightful space between close-up magic and stage magic. 

Parlor magic is designed for larger audiences than close-up magic but is more intimate than stage magic.

Unlike grand stage performances, it doesn’t require elaborate, expensive equipment or massive stages. Instead, it can be performed closer to the audience without the need for a formal stage setup.

Event/Stage

Stage magic, also known as illusion magic, is a captivating form of performance art that unfolds on a grand scale. 

Stage magic is performed for larger audiences than parlor magic or close-up magic.

It takes place on a formal stage, often in theaters, auditoriums, or large venues.

The goal is to create seemingly impossible feats that defy the laws of physics.
